Archie's Helping Hand was sixth episode of the fifth season and the 91st overall episode of All In The Family. The Season 5 episode first aired on CBS-TV on October 12, 1974. The based on a story written by Norman & Harriet Belkin, and was directed by H. Wesley Kenney.
Synopsis
Archie, annoyed at the amount of time Edith is spending with Irene Lorenzo, attempts to help her get a job as a bookkeeper at the loading dock, but the position Irene ends up landing is that of forklift operator, working alongside Archie.
Summary
Archie persuades his boss to hire Irene Lorenzo as a bookkeeper. While she'd undoubtedly do a good job in that job, the boss thinks she'd do even better as a forklift operator. It isn't long before Archie finds himself working alongside Irene!
Note: Sorrell Booke (as Mr. Sanders) and Betty Garrett (as Irene Lorenzo) both appear in this episode.
