Berlinda Tolbert (born November 4, 1949) appears as Jenny Willis-Jefferson on The Jeffersons TV series, first appearing in the Season 5 All in the Family episode "The Jeffersons Move Up", which served as the series pilot for The Jeffersons spinoff series. She also appeared in the film Harlem Nights with co-stars Eddie Murphy, Redd Foxx and Richard Pryor. She was born one day after actor Mike Evans, the man who played her boyfriend/husband Lionel Jefferson in The Jeffersons. They were both born in North Carolina, he in Salisbury, and she in Charlotte; the two were both raised in the Research Triangle area of North Carolina. With the death of Sherman Hemsley in July 2012, Tolbert, Marla Gibbs (Florence), and Damon Evans (Lionel #2) are the last surviving members of the Jeffersons original main cast as of 2013.
