Gloria LeRoy (born November 7, 1925-died May 24, 2018[1]) was an American character actress, remembered for having first played Bobbie Jo Loomis, the blonde, buxom wife of Archie's old war buddy Duke Loomis, and later the equally voluptuous Mildred "Boom Boom" Turner in the 1970s sitcom All in the Family. Life and career[]

Gloria had a diverse career, with a number of roles in film, TV and stage. Once a Burlesque performer, Gloria once headlined at the Hotel El Rancho (Las Vegas) from 1951 thru 1952.Born in Bucyrus, Ohio but raised in The Bronx, New York City, Gloria (her birth name) was the daughter of Russell and Loletta LeRoy and sister of Kenneth LeRoy.

Gloria had recurring roles on the NBC-TV soap operas Passions and Days of our Lives. She also appeared on FOX-TV's Married with Children as Chesty LaRue in episode "Live Nude Peg" (1997).

In 2001, She appeared in a season 8 (Episode #23) of NBC-TV's Frasier entitled "A Day In May". She played Mrs. Smolenski, a perspective house buyer.

In 2009, she appeared in Season 5 of ABC-TV's Desperate Housewives series as "Rose Kemper" and in 2010, she appeared in Shameless as "Aunt Ginger".
