Good Times was a spinoff of the show Maude, thus making it an indirect spinoff of All in the Family. It centered on the Evans family. Florida Evans was Maude Findlay's maid. Florida and her husband James Evans, referred to as Henry in the show, were both recurring characters on Maude. James/Henry got a promotion and that resulted in Florida and James relocating to Chicago with their three children.
