Murray Klein was Archie's Jewish business partner during the first three seasons of Archie Bunker's Place, who purchased half of the Archie Bunker's Place saloon in the series' first episode. Murray, who held liberal views similar to those of Archie's son-in-law Michael Stivic was, unlike Mike, much more tolerant and patient with Archie's views than he. Murray was a divorced man with a daughter named Beverly and two grandchildren named Miguel and Rebecca. Murray was played by veteran television and film actor Martin Balsam.
