William Grenville "Renny" Temple (born September 15, 1942) [1]appeared as David Brewster, a friend of Mike and Gloria who moved to Canada during the Vietnam War to escape the U.S. Army Selective Service Draft. He visits them at the Bunker home on Christmas Day in the Season 7 episode of All in the Family titled "The Draft Dodger" (#15).

Career[]

Active in Hollywood from 1976, when he made his first appearance in the AITF episode, to 1991, Renny has guest starred in numerous TV series, such as Eight Is Enough, Hart to Hart, Gimme a Break!, Alice, and The Bionic Woman, and also has directed episodes for such shows as ABC-TV's Head of the Class, Growing Pains, and It's Garry Shandling's Show, and Empty Nest.

Personal Life[]

A native of Bethesda, Maryland, Renny graduated from Walter Johnson Senior High School there. He currently resides in Santa Monica, California.
