Synopsis[]
Gloria objects to her father's treatment of Edith, sparking a battle that could upset the future harmony of the entire Bunker household. In one of Edith's best "wisdom of the sages from the mouth of a dingbat" moments, she restores harmony with a lecture about maple syrup.
Summary[]
Once again fueled by the flames of Women's Lib, Gloria is convinced that her mother Edith is being emotionally abused by Archie. Trouble is, Edith doesn't feel like a victim and refuses to act like one. As a result, Gloria and Edith engage in a no-holds-barred argument, while the uncharacteristically speechless Archie and Mike sit on the sidelines.
